Trashed the inside as well..........

Pea Cage Installed

The big cage has been set up as the peas out-grew the low level net.

This makes pea picking easier as you can stand up inside the net.

There's lots of blossom on the peas......

Courgettes Planted Out

Courgette plant including watering pot and slug pellets!

Only 4 planted as expecting a prolific harvest........

Gooseberries Doing Well.

Plenty of fruit has set.....

Hope the birds don't get it........

Fortunately only 15 plants out of 60 damaged. 

All the rest are OK!

How to plant Peas ( including sugar snaps) :-

1). Pick a plot........

2). Dig shallow trenches.......

3).  Slide the pea plants from the guttering into the trench.....
(sugar snaps on left, peas on right)

4).  Bird & slug protection : netting & pellets
